This article discusses the fundamental ideas regarding the mechanisms of internalization of external activities, according to the theory of mental activity assimilation by stages elaborated by the Russian scientist P. Ya. Galperin, whose work is a continuation of L.S. Vygotsky´s consideration of scientific concepts as components of specific learning activities.
