The article is about a research on the institutional evaluation, showing its importance in Education. The institutional education is based on criteria and values that are going to be observed in the institution and the project that it intends to develop. It's not an evaluation modality; it's a pedagogical process building to observe the development of the institution. It identifies the progress and retrocession, mistakes and faults of the institution from its exposed points, to an analysis of the organization related to its internal dynamic and relationship nets. The institutional evaluation should take us to significant changes, in the educational field, considering what it already has and where it wants to reach.
