Immersed in an ever changing political, social, economic and technological, environment labor nowadays has to lace salary depletion, wage reductions, precarious working conditions and informality. The objective of this paper is to summarize the relation between identity, work and employment. The subjects of this study were student’s courses that associated professional training to job. Guarantee It was carried out a qualitative research (case study) with semi-structure interviews. The theoretical framework was dialectic materialism in which work has a central role in human's life.
