Abstract

This article aims at analyzing from a phylosophical-pedagogiacal perspective the relationship between techno-culture and education. It lakes as methodological reference principies from the Theory of Values, conceptualizing education as a process of apprehension and hierarchical arrangement in a proper and adequate way for te human one's sensitive, it analyses the role of media in general, which especially appeals lo this educational resort that functions not only lo communicate, but also lo propose a hierarchy of values that leads lo one´s development. It analyses the characteristics of multimedia, the denotation and connotation of its massages, the imaginary and the meaning of its language. It demonstrates that as the technological production is not neutral, its pedagogical action occurs through the way it is presented, and not through the content it conveys. Il also approaches questions of censorship and ethics in the media production. It sums up stating the necessity of a deeper reflection over concepts like culture, techno-culture and education concerning ethics.
