The work presents the results of a exploratory research with basic education's teachers, aiming to detect the difficulties faced in day-by-day of its profession, as well as its opinions and expectations with regard to politics of teacher´s formation proposal in the Brazilian National Education´s Low. Twenty eight teachers, who acts in basic education´s schools of Belo Horizonte, had been searched. Half-structuralized, direct, recorded and transcribing interviews had been used, being boarded the difficulties finded and the alternatives that they present to cure them. The teachers also had been questioned about the current teacher´s formation courses and about the continuous formation. The data had been organized in three itens: 1º) Professional performance and formation: the difficulties and alternatives presented for the teachers and the critical ones about the teacher´s formation courses; 2°) Expectations with regard to the teacher´s formation courses: to exced the knowledge technician, synthesis of practical theory and formation based in the research; 3°) Continuous formation and the collective processes of work: an imperious necessity. The depositions had evidenced that it needs lo made a lot of things with regard the teacher´s formation and had clearly left that a way to rethink the teacher´s formation courses is to give voice to the teachers, considering the initial process of formation as the beginning of one walked that does not have end, whichever the education level where goes to act the teacher.
