The importance of family agriculture for economic development grows in recent years in consequence of the momentum generated by the expansion of the discussion about sustainable development, improved food security, generation of employment and income. Marketing is a major key for the development of this production system. This study refers to the marketing strategy for milkmaid activity in a small rural holding in the municipalities of Peabirú and Quinta do Sol, where 53% of home farm are engaged in milk production. Also part of the study, is the group of family producers of milk in the city of Engenheiro Beltrão . The research’s result shows the viability of a marketing strategy that unites them through the logistic of milk gathering from each producer so as to increase the volume and to make sale with better prices with more independence through the formation of a collective enterprise of self-management.
