SANT’ANA, Ruth Bernardes de. ADOLESCENTS PUPILS’ CULTURE OF HIGH SCHOOL: DYNAMICS AND CONTEXTS. Revista da FAEEBA: Educação e Contemporaneidade [online]. 2018, vol.27, n.53, pp.220-236.  Epub July 04, 2019. ISSN 2358-0194.  https://doi.org/10.21879/faeeba2358-0194.2018.v27.n53.p220-236.

This paper undertakes a rereading of publications considered relevant in the debate on the relationship between youth cultures and school cultures, in order to theorize about the forms assumed by the culture of the pupils within this relationship in secondary education. Pupils’ culture is an important guideline for us to understand the school in the life of youngsters in a society where education is central in the process of inequality of access to physical and symbolic goods. Thus, the questions that this study sought to answer are the following: What is the culture of pupils? How it manifests in high school in different social contexts?

Keywords : Culture; Pupils; High education; School.
