This is a research about necessary conditions for the students  to have meaningful learning, that is,  to acquire knowledge using their own capacity of elaboration and understanding of what is being taught. It considers the complexity of interactions in regular and special classrooms, the implication of teachers’ attitudes and the school environment for the learning process of the pupils: with visual impairment; deafness and without sensorial deficiency. The research and the analyses of the data are based in the proposal of the Aprendizagem Totalizante (Totalized learning), showing its viability.
