Abstract

FERREIRA, Rodrigo Klassen  and  SARAIVA, Karla. PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND THE ADVANCE OF PRECARIOUS LABOR. ETD - Educ. Temat. Digit. [online]. 2022, vol.24, n.4, pp.903-920. ISSN 1676-2592.  https://doi.org/10.20396/etd.v24i4.8663480.

The objective of the article is to show the inflections in the way of perceiving the organization of work since the beginning of the 21st century and its effects on professional education, with special attention to the so called integrated Secondary Education. The research was carried out through the analysis of a set of documents, showing two movements. Firstly, the creation of Federal Institutes and, with them, the Secondary Education integrated to Professional Education during the Lula Government, which would be linked to a rationality based on immaterial labor. Then, the weakening process of these Institutes in the Bolsonaro Government, which would be associated with a growing uberization of work. The analyzes show a shift in emphasis from immaterial labor, with a strong use of intellectual capacities, to precarious work, which mainly mobilizes the forces of the body, signaling different ways of thinking about the country’s productive system and its effects in the field of professional education.

Keywords : Secondary Education; Professional Education; Labor organization.
