NASCIMENTO, Juvenilto Soares; SILVA, Fabricio Cardoso da; SILVA, Lucas Lourenço  y  ABREU, Irene Silva de. Interference and inequalities in high school policies: a comparative study of Brazil and Argentina. J. Pol. Educ-s [online]. 2020, vol.14, e73177.  Epub 01-Dic-2021. This article investigates, through a comparative study, the recent reforms of high school in Brazil and Argentina. The objective is to analyze how the official documents guiding these reforms deal with inequalities - in intentions and measures to be adopted - revealing convergences and divergences. With a qualitative approach, this bibliographic study and documentary analysis type of research includes, in particular: the Incheon Declaration; the Explanatory Memorandum (EM) nº 0084/2016/MEC; and the Argentine Federal Education Council (CFE) Resolution nº 230/2017. The main theoretical references used are the studies by Corrêa (2011); Yang (2015); Libâneo (2012; 2018); Nascimento (2018); Krawczyk and Ferretti (2017); Polizzi (2019); and Feldfeber and Gluz (2014). Among the results, it was identified that the reforms occur in a context of advances in Argentina and setbacks in Brazil, but the latter adopts measures incompatible with its expressed intentions, to improve the quality of education and reduce its inequalities.

Palabras clave : High school reform; Brazil; Argentina; International multilateral organizations; Inequalities.
