RIBEIRO, Rosselini Diniz Barbosa et al. Distance Education, Quality and Innovation: A Study on Research on the Spanish Thesis Portal. J. Pol. Educ-s [online]. 2021, vol.15, e80431.  Epub Dec 01, 2021. ISSN 1981-1969.  https://doi.org/10.5380/jpe.v15i0.80431.

This article is an analytical bibliographic survey on the concept of quality and innovation in higher distance education present in the researches deposited in the Spanish Thesis Portal - Dialnet -, during the period from 2007 to 2018. It is part of interinstitutional research with the participation of public and private non-profit higher education institutions in the Midwest region. The consulted researches showed that the distance modality is understood as a criterion of innovation in higher education and that the quality of education has a close connection with the market perspective of customer satisfaction, availability to pay, and employability, disregarding the articulation between the dimensions in and out of school in the provision of social quality education.

Keywords : Distance Education; Quality; Innovation.
