This article deals with the analysis of the school performance in the state public network of education in Pará delimited in the analysis of the information contained in the Paraense System of Educational Evaluation - SISPAE. It aims to describe the limitations contained in the evaluation conception prescribed in the SISPAE to validate the school performance of students from the public network of Para. This is a historical educational study, obtained from institutional documentary sources, complemented by a semi-structured interview conducted with teachers from the Paraense state education network. It was verified that the quantitative values described in the SISPAE results only reveal the disparities in the social inequality gap in the State of Pará, described through basic education.
