Resumen

This article discusses how teaching knowledge is developed, based on the Vale do Itajaí University (SC - Brazil) Continuing Education Program for teachers and local administrators of the Balneario Piçarras municipal education system, which focused on the integrated curriculum implementation in local schools. The Integrated Curriculum Methodology seminars and the Pedagogical Experience Laboratory are two of the focused activities: concerning the seminars, there is a discussion of the projects developed in the school system through the integrated curriculum conception and the applied methodology; while in the Pedagogical Experiences Laboratory, the analysis is based on teachers’ reports about the activities contributions to their education.
