Abstract

The current article is the cut of a research, at the doctoral level, which is in the phase of data production in the empirical field. The text analyzes the Political Pedagogical Project of the Maintenance and Support in Informatics course that was implemented in 2006 at the Rio de Janeiro Campus of the Federal Institute of Science and Technology Education of Rio de Janeiro, in compliance with Decree nº 5840/06, which instituted and determined the implementation of the National Program for the Integration of Vocational Education with Basic Education in the Mode of Youth and Adults - PROEJA, in the Federal Network of Basic, Technical and Technological Education. The scope of the analysis concerns the way the integrated curriculum was evidenced and the concept of interdisciplinarity presented in the text of the pedagogical proposal. Through the intertwining of documents and in the light of theoretical references, the analysis is concerned with identifying the guarantee of offering the knowledge historically constructed by humanity to young and working adults, recipients of PROEJA. It concludes by emphasizing the importance of teaching in the mediation of educational policy proposals and / or programs, in the youth and adult education modality, and points to the importance of research that considers the teacher's work as an object and that can contribute to the Initial and continued education for teachers aiming at the modalities of Youth and Adult Education and Professional Education.
