Exerting higher influence in the analyses of educational processes, the Cultural Studies question the persona that the hegemonic project is developing, considering the democratic and multicultural society. Acknowledging the existence of a clash of cultures inside a basic education school, we resort to a bricolage of research methods to identify and interpret eventual zones of tension. The analyzes of a curricular dynamic through a more profound knowledge of fights for significance in which it covers or to explicate, allows to suggest alternative ways to select which knowledge will take school time, as well as reorganize the pedagogical practice.
