Abstract

This reflection aims: to make known South America and Caribean ancestral aesthetics and epistemology, re-writing Engineering history to this part of the world; to offer images of ar chitecture and engineering solutions, demons trating the importance of epistemology and aesthetics to the human condition. Based on Bachelard´s theories (2006), mythhermeneutics theory and methodology, the anthropological path is analysed so as the experience of episte mological change of students by Project based learning. Concluding, we find questionable that Brazil never considered the need of non -indigenous people learning from ancestral epistemology and aesthetics. The creation of a Net of Knowledge is proposed.
