Abstract

PIMENTEL, Mariano  and  CARVALHO, Felipe. Cybertechnicism. R. Educ. Públ. [online]. 2022, vol.31, e13919.  Epub June 29, 2022. ISSN 2238-2097.  https://doi.org/10.29286/rep.v31ijan/dez.13919.

In this text, we define, characterize, substantiate, historicize and problematize cybertechnicism, a massive instructional didactic-pedagogical approach based on networked digital technologies in which educational processes are semi or fully automated through techniques and technologies such as programmed instruction, platformization, youtuberization, gamification, algorithmization, datafication, among others. Cybertechnicism aims to implement an art of teaching without teachers, with little or no human mediation, maintaining the basic principles of technical and scientific rationality that characterized technicism, now reconfigured by networked digital technologies.

Keywords : Technicism; Programmed Instruction; Cyberculture; Educational Technologies.
