Abstract

DUVERNOY, Doriele Silva de Andrade Costa  and  BARROS, Lyza Gennifer Moreira de. Pedagogical dimension of School Management: curriculum planning, evaluation and practice. Sér.-Estud. [online]. 2022, vol.27, n.61, pp.325-347.  Epub Feb 16, 2023. ISSN 2318-1982.  https://doi.org/10.20435/serieestudos.v27i61.1671.

This article presents an analysis of the management-curriculum relationship, from the perspective of managers of public schools in a municipal education network in the metropolitan region of Recife, PE. We identified the planning, evaluation and practice of the curriculum as axes of action in school management in a perspective that considers the pedagogical dimension as the center of the manager’s work. Our object of study is school management, with the purpose of investigating how the pedagogical dimension can be enhanced through the implementation of the curriculum at school. We adopt the methodological approach of action research. We found elements that point to the semantic field of the curriculum concept, contexts of action of the current educational policy and the specific roles of each segment involved in the curricular practices developed at school.

Keywords : school management; curricular policies; Common Curricular National Basis.
