Abstract

This study analyzed the teachers’ perception of the implementation of the organizational structure without teaching departments in the academic units of the Federal University of Espirito Santo - Campus de Alegre through a case study, with a quantitative and qualitative approach, with the application of multivariate methods. The results were significant and indicated the need to change the current organizational structure and acceptance of teachers for an organizational restructuring focusing on Course Collegiate, which confirms a change in the pattern of the institutional culture.
