The journal Revista Educação e Cultura Contemporânea (REEDUC) is maintained by the Graduate Program in Education of Universidade Estácio de Sá and has been published uninterruptedly since 2004. Its format became exclusively online in 2010, and the previous printed issues are being gradually digitized — many of them can already be accessed on the REEDUC website (https://mestradoedoutoradoestacio.periodicoscientificos.com.br/index.php/reeduc/index).

With a quarterly publication frequency until 2022, REEDUC has adopted, since 2023, a continuous publication model, ensuring the ongoing release of new articles throughout the year. The journal publishes results of theoretical and/or empirical research, critical reviews of educational research literature—both thematic and methodological—essays, book reviews, and interviews with professionals in the field of Education or related areas. Access to the journal is free of charge, and no publication fees are required from authors.
