The Obutchénie Journal. The Journal of Didactics and Educational Psychology is a scientific journal continuously published by the Postgraduate Program in Education and the Study and Research Group on Developmental Didactics and Teacher Professionalization (Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Didática Desenvolvimental e Profissionalização Docente - GEPEDI) at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) Faculty of Education. The journal is aimed at researchers, professors, and students in the field of education and aims to foster research and academic debate on teaching, learning, and developmental processes; teacher training and teaching practices; historical and biographical aspects; and the epistemological and methodological foundations of teaching from a dialectical materialist perspective. In addition to being a means of scientific outreach, the journal publishes research and academic texts in the areas of Didactics and Educational Psychology, promoting exchange with national and international institutions conducting related research. |
The Obutchénie Journal: Journal of Didactics and Educational Psychology (E-ISSN 2526-7647) was created in 2017 as a periodical publication of the Study and Research Group on Developmental Didactics and Teacher Professionalization (GEPEDI). It is linked to the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Faculty of Education at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. The journal focuses on analyzing teaching, learning, and development processes from a dialectical-materialist perspective. It provides a space to disseminate academic research addressing the multiple dimensions of didactic theory and practice, as well as advances in educational psychology. The journal also publishes studies on teacher training, investigations into teaching practices in different educational contexts, and historical and biographical analyses relevant to the field of education. Additionally, it publishes rigorous reflections on the epistemological and methodological foundations that underpin educational practices in light of this theoretical approach. |
The journal has a group of renowned experts in the fields of didactics and educational psychology based on the theoretical foundations of dialectical materialism. Original manuscripts will be submitted to reviewers with PhDs who are recognized experts in the topics covered and are affiliated with national and international institutions. The works will be sent for evaluation without identifying the authors. The article selection process involves evaluation by two or three Ph.D.s in the subject area who act as ad hoc reviewers and by members of the board of directors. The average time from submission to final approval is two months. |
